- 27 Sep 2024Westbourne is seeking an experienced and versatile woodwind specialist to lead and coordinate our woodwind department. This one-year, fixed-term position commences in 2025.
The main teaching responsibilities of the role involve the Year 5 - 8 instrumental programs, the Year 9 elective program, as well delivering private tuition and a high-level contribution to the co-curricular ensemble program. The role will work closely with the Head of Brass to oversee the development of the wind band program Years 5 - 12. We are looking for an exemplary practitioner to join our team, who displays the desire and skills to produce outstanding young musicians. Music technology skills and conducting experience are not essential but may be considered an advantage.
