We are seeking an experienced, passionate “can do” Maintenance Officer to take a leading role in managing a high-quality building and apartments.
An exciting hands-on role with a diverse range of activities, you will be someone that rolls up their sleeves, has good attention to detail, strong communication skills, and takes pride in quality standards. You will be tech-savvy and passionate about exceeding resident expectations when troubleshooting.
As the lead handyperson, you like variety and can be innovative, and intuitive and find solutions to a range of building and facility challenges.
You will use your all-round skills to:
- Perform necessary maintenance and repairs in apartments and property generated from resident requests for service or with work orders and/or schedule contractors for maintenance related work. Secure bids and proposals as directed.
- Assist with inventory control and utilisation of maintenance materials and supplies
- support contractor management, WHS and compliance requirements, including ensuring all works are compliant to Australian standards
- Assists in maintaining a clean, safe, and well organised compliant property, including the plant and equipment storage area
- Report potential safety hazards adhering to all company safety policies, practices and regulations.
- Completes the “make-ready” process to prepare vacant apartment homes for leasing and new move-ins.
- Assists with incidents and accidents reporting
- Provide efficient and effective customer service, living the company values and standards
- Support all CapEx projects

Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
**Salary**: $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
