We are currently looking for a casual Catering Assistants & Kitchen hands to join our team at one of Victoria's prestigious Residential Universities located in Parkville

The key to our success is our people. Your role as Catering Assistant/Kitchen hand in this busy café/kitchen and residential facility is to provide friendly, attentive and efficient service to our valued customers and students

**Your main responsibilities will include**:

- Providing excellent customer service
- Service & set up of students through the dining service areas
- Food preparation, including sandwiches & salads
- Putting of deliveries away in accordance with Food Safety guidelines
- Kitchen Cleaning & dishes
- Assisting with function setups

**To be successful in this role you will demonstrate**:

- A passion for quality food, coffee and customer service
- A current food handlers certificate ( this can be arranged)
- Previous experience in food preparation
- Previous experience in a cafe environment
- Understanding of OH&S and food safety practices
- A warm, bubbly and efficient personality
- An ability to work as part of a great team
- Have excellent attention to detail

WWC is a must in this location

Flexible availability to work various shifts across 7 days
- Availability to work Saturday & Sunday‘s is preferable

Shifts available:
7.30am
- 3pm Monday to Sunday
- 4pm-8.30pm Monday to Sunday
- 9.30am-3.00pm
- Monday to Friday
