Our client is a highly regarded Commonwealth agency that serves a vital function in addressing a diverse range of important policy areas in Australia. As a key player in the national landscape, they are seeking an experienced APS6 Resourcing Officer to join their team on a 12-month contract basis.

**The Opportunity**:
**The Role**:
As the APS6 Resourcing Officer, your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

- Coordinating and managing workforce planning, resource allocation, and resourcing across the Branch
- Coordinating occupancy and allocation, and identify future accommodation needs to support the Branch’s national growth
- Overseeing the allocation and utilisation of a pool of contract resources to Branch, section, and programs
- Managing a team responsible for delivering resourcing services within the Branch
- Owning the employee lifecycle from induction to career development and succession planning
- Conducting routine resourcing meetings to ensure ongoing coverage at the Branch, Section, and program level
- Conducting staff satisfaction, wellbeing, and feedback surveys as needed
- Supporting and driving Branch culture, wellbeing, and inclusion activities
- Regularly reporting to the Branch Leadership Team on workforce needs, issues, and risks

**The Ideal Person**:
You will have strong experience in managing recruitment and resourcing activities within a large, complex organisation. In additional, you will have:

- Proven ability to prioritise competing demands and work effectively in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
- Exceptional leadership and management skills, with a track record of developing and motivating staff to achieve their potential
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders at all levels
- A passion for promoting diversity, inclusion, and a supportive culture that values the perspectives, talents, and contributions of all team members

**You must be an Australian citizen and have a minimum Baseline clearance.**

**Salary / Rate**:

- $55/hr - $65/hr + Super
- 12 Month Contract
