Technical Writer

You’ll be working within the Content and Design Stream of our S2IX Product Team alongside Product Designers (both internal and external) and Developers to ideate and implement new and updated features, with a focus on ensuring our users have all of the information they need to succeed using our product.

You’ll be contributing to the team by:

- Developing and maintaining a variety of technical documents, including user manuals, product guides, installation instructions, API documentation, release notes, and other support materials.
- Analysing and interpreting complex technical information to create accurate and coherent content for end-users, ensuring it meets the specific needs and requirements of the target audience.
- Participate in the evaluation of products to gain hands-on experience and ensure documentation accurately reflects the functionality and features.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the timely release of documentation, aligned with product development and release schedules.
- Proactively identify opportunities to improve documentation processes, tools, and templates to enhance efficiency and quality.
- Respond to feedback from customers and internal stakeholders, addressing inquiries and resolving any issues related to documentation.

**Requirements**:
Our Technical Writer will have excellent communication skills, high levels of attention to detail, and work autonomously. They will be able to identify and implement better processes, and most importantly, being customer-centric is their passion.

Specifically, they have:

- Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Technical Writer or similar role, with a portfolio demonstrating successful documentation projects.
- Exceptional writing and editing skills with a keen eye for detail, grammar, and punctuation.
- Strong technical aptitude and ability to grasp complex technical concepts quickly.
- Proficiency in using documentation tools such as Microsoft Word, Adobe Acrobat, and version control systems.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated ability to adapt writing style to different audiences and contexts.
