**About the Role**: As the Director of Nursing and Midwifery Services you will provide expert contemporary strategic, operational and professional nursing and midwifery leadership and management for the Logan and Beaudesert Health Service. The role is the single point of accountability for all nursing and midwifery practice, facilitating and coordinating nursing and midwifery services across the health service.

- expert knowledge of contemporary nursing and midwifery practice, standards, legislation and health care management
- leadership in professional strategic direction, imperatives and actions to foster professional principles, governance and growth
- highly developed interpersonal skills including conflict resolution, negotiation, consultation and communication skills to deal with the needs and concerns of internal and external stakeholders and health service partners, including the ability to manage people and situations flexibly and responsively
- expertise in change implementation, management and evaluation
