**Your next opportunity**
Based in Somerton, we are looking for a Depot Supervisor to manage the day-to-day compliance and safety of our site in line with operational requirements. In this role you will manage our OH&S standards, oversee the servicing and maintenance of our Somerton site as well as assist in managing our linehaul operations.
This position requires availability from Monday to Friday, with the expectation of being available for any escalations related to plant & site issues during the weekends if required.
**Your day will involve**:
- Conduct regular safety audits, risk assessments, and inspections to identify potential hazards and mitigate risks proactively.
- Act as a point of contact with our external partners in Linehaul operations, making sure communication is clear and any issues are quickly resolved.
- Manage silo maintenance and operations, ensuring inspections, repairs, and proper storage conditions to minimize downtime and maintain efficiency.
- Manage contractor activities and assist in loading/unloading with drivers to ensure smooth operations and safety
- Manage weighbridge and cement blending systems to maintain accurate tracking and quality control
- Assist with the packaged space on site operations where required

- Demonstrated experience working within a similar industrial/civil environment
- Strong mechanical understanding
- Dedicated to fostering a culture of safety
- Experienced in using various computer systems such as Microsoft Office Suite as well as Oracle and Maximo
