J&L Meats has the opportunity for a Qualified Butcher to join our team at our family owned butcher shop located in South Yarra at the Prahran Market.

We pride ourselves on supplying the highest quality products and customer services.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, reliable and dedicated butcher. An Individual who loves working in a team and is passionate about their trade and customer service.

The role:

- Cutting and prepping all meat products
- Preparing all types of meat for sale, including cutting, mincing and trimming.
- Setting up window displays/Merchandising
- Confident in cutting and stacking trays to a high-quality standard

The Successful applicant:

- Excellent knife skills
- Minimum 3 years of working as a Butcher
- Butcher shop experience
- Must have a friendly and positive attitude
- Neat and tidy appearance
- Ability to follow procedures and take direction as required.
- Reliability and high degree of integrity
- Weekend availability and flexibility with hours highly desirable

This is a full time position but open to a part time Qualified Butcher.
