Company Description

We are looking for our next Payroll professional to join Accor's Luxury Apartment Hub. The Hub is comprised of 6 luxury hotels which employ approximately 320 people - Pullman Quay Grand Sydney Harbour, The Sebel Quay West Suites Sydney, The Sebel Sydney Chatswood, Pullman Magenta Shores Resort, Ibis Budget Sydney East and Ibis Budget Sydney Airport

Reporting to the Director of Finance, you will be responsible for working closely with the Finance Team and multiple Heads of Department across all businesses, whilst ensuring accurate data entry into the payroll system. This role offers exposure to many aspects of Finance and is an environment that offers autonomy, growth, and development.

Pullman Quay Grand Sydney Harbour & The Sebel Quay West Suites Sydney are both situated in an iconic location, a stone’s throw away from Sydney Harbour Bridge and The Opera House, each with breathtaking views. You will be situated at The Sebel Quay West Suites Sydney a 5-minute walk from Wynyard Station.

**Job Description**:
In this exciting role, you will drive the financial success of the properties within the Finance Hub and will also provide critical support to the Director of Finance and Financial Controller. Your responsibilities will include:

- Process payroll for all properties on a biweekly basis.
- Accurate data entry of time sheets into the payroll system.
- Liaise with the Financial Controller to ensure necessary funds are available to process the payroll.
- Administer payroll in accordance with legislative requirements.
- Complete monthly payroll reporting and filing procedures.
- Accurately monitor and record all leave (annual, sick, special, lieu days) accrued and taken by each employee. Advise the employee’s Head of Department and Mangers of any discrepancies, outstanding balances and/or zero balances.
- Accurately pay final pays required after the clearance form has been completed and all company property returned.
- Manage Superannuation Administration in accordance with legislative requirements
- Processing of all End of Financial Year obligations.
- Maintaining and updating all Employee Records.
- Weekly reporting to Hotels on labour costs and having the ability and knowledge to identify any areas of concern.

**Qualifications**:

- A minimum of 1 years’ experience in a similar role preferably in the Hotel industry.
- Understanding of state and federal legislation for tax, superannuation, long service leave and National Employment Standards.
- Understanding of award classifications.
- The ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines at once. A high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
