About the role

Our busy and energetic Elective Surgery Access Unit is seeking a dynamic enthusiastic Booking Clerk to join our fast paced team.

The Elective Surgery Access Unit facilitates waiting list management and theatre allocation for elective surgery. You will need to be patient/client focussed and be able to communicate effectively with patients, relatives and Medical staff to succeed in this position.

About you

**To be successful in this role you will possess**:
Previous administrative/clerical experience

Knowledge of medical terminology

Advanced computer skills

Highly developed interpersonal and leadership experience

A strong commitment to high quality care

The ability to work as part of a diverse team

Excellent communication and organisational skills
