Taking up the role of
, students undertaking placement at this Service will gain valuable experience in a variety of practical and administrative activities to support the Centre, whilst also meeting the competency requirements of their tertiary studies. This placement is aimed at students who are currently studying in a relevant field and have a strong interest in
. This placement is for a fixed term according to the student’s course requirements.

Key responsibilities- Meet with work placement supervisor regularly to plan and discuss required placement activities and for supervision to meet professional development capabilities.-
- Students will observe and support the programs and activities by practically assisting with the smooth running of programs as well providing administrative support.-
- Maintain confidentiality of interactions and information-
- Keep children safe by always abiding by Salvation Army’s child safe policies and code of conductQualifications and skills (desired/required)- Be enrolled in a recognised Tertiary Educational Institute / RTO and enter into a formal Placement Agreement with The Salvation Army (TSA)-
- Keen interest in the challenges and opportunities of -
- A sound knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel is highly desiredCapabilities and personal attributes
