**About the Team**

You will be joining a small friendly team, supporting the wider finance team for RDA nationally. It is a great opportunity for a junior pricing analyst to build up your skills, working for a well-established defence prime.

**About the Role***

As our Pricing Analyst, you will be responsible for preparing the pricing and estimating response for minor bids, proposals and tenders for RDA. The position is based in Brisbane, and you can work from both our office locations - MILVEHCOE (Military Vehicle Centre of Excellence) Redbank, and our Fortitude Valley office on Ann Street. It could also be based in Melbourne at our offices in Southbank.

As **Pricing Analyst**, you can anticipate some of your day-to-day tasks to include:

- Prepare the pricing of minor bids, proposals and tenders for RDA;
- Provide support to the pricing team on major proposals;
- Responsible for the financial integrity and accuracy of general tendered solutions whilst ensuring that senior management directives on the proposals have been appropriately accounted for;
- Provide direct input into minor tender responses taking into account cost recovery, profit levels and cash flow requirements in accordance with Rheinmetall methodologies and customer guidelines i.e. Commonwealth Cost and Profit Principles;
- Assist Proposal Leads in the preparation of win-price analysis to support competitive bid, proposal and tender pursuits;
- Ensure that all new work has been reviewed for risk and that risk has been priced appropriately. Utilising processes, tools and systems to analyse and price risk;
- Support in the preparation of Price and Delivery Schedules, Payment Plans and Price Variation Formulas in accordance with the guidelines set in the Customer’s Request for Tender (RFT);
- Support project commercial functions in the preparation of Survey and Quotes (S&Qs) and assist Proposal Leads in Contract Change Proposals (CCPs);
- Develop and document RDA’s pricing and estimating policies and procedures;
- Support continuous improvement in developing and maintaining pricing and estimating tools and templates i.e. ProPricer, excel pricing templates; and
- Supporting continuous operational improvements within the finance team, including identifying ways to better leverage the systems, improving the speed and automation of financial data capture, reconciliation, reporting and analysis.

The experience and skillset best suited to this role includes:

- Tertiary qualifications in Finance/ Accounting/ Commerce or related disciplines;
- Experience in pricing principles;
- Experience in project costing and financial analysis and development of financial reports and analysis;
- Knowledge of costing/management accounting practices;
- Intermediate MS Office skills i.e. Excel, PowerPoint;
- Ability to travel interstate and globally when required; and
- Must hold or be eligible to obtain an Australian Government Security Clearance (must hold Australian Citizenship).
