Residential Draftsperson

- Use your skills in ArchiCAD to create precise accurate drawings of homes

Responsibilities
- Create precise and accurate plans integrating house sittings, floor plans, elevations, internal drawings, and slab layouts
- Proactively solve challenges related to visual, construction, or design constraints, responding swiftly to critical needs identified by the Workflow team
- Collaborate with various internal stakeholders such as sales, estimators, colour selection consultants, and client liaison teams
- Communicate effectively with your manager to resolve technical or design issues
- Conduct thorough checks on every drawing before issue to ensure adherence to project standards, covenants, and company standards
- Maintain updated systems and data records to accurately reflect the progress of each job

Experience
- Minimum Certificate IV in Residential Drafting (or equivalent / or higher qualification)
- Experience working as a draftsperson for a residential home builder, ideally in Perth, WA
- A working knowledge of NCC, relevant Australian standards and local authority requirements including BCA, R-Codes, R-MD Codes and Developer guidelines
- Ability to interpret LDP's, Planning policies, Structure Plans, Developer guidelines
- Strong practical and working knowledge of Archi-Cad
- Excellent attention to detail and strong and proven communication skills
- Ability to work both autonomously and part of a team
- Have full Australian work rights
