JOB SUMMARY:
The main focus of the HSEQ Administrator is to assist the National Operations and HSEQ Manager and maintain a focal point for all JLG staff. Provide a high level of internal service across all business units in relation to Health and Safety, systems development, and continuous improvement initiatives.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
These duties are not meant to be all-inclusive and other duties may be assigned.
- Provide efficient coordination and management of the HSEQ AUS Inbox for internal and external customer inquiries.
- Provide efficient coordination and advice on the HSEQ Training database, including regularly reporting.
- Assist with the management and input of the HSEQ database and full functionality of Intelex.
- Provide Contractor Management advice, support, and assistance to the branch network and technician inductions (CM3, Rapid Global, Pegasus etc)
- Ensure a high standard of customer service by providing routine reports to management and business units relating to issues arising from WHS systems.
- Assist business units across the region in the planning, development, and delivery of business unit specific HSEQ requirements.
- Assist the National Operations and HSEQ Manager with the development and implementation of the HSEQ strategic and annual safety plans.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes and participate in bench marking programs and activities, including identification and implementation of health and safety best practices and initiatives.
- Assist with the development and review of HSEQ documentation.
- Follow defined documentation and information management practices, policies and procedures for all records created and received.
- Contribute actively and Project manage health and safety initiatives as required.
- Other administrative duties as required by the National Operations and HSEQ Manager
- Ensuring the Health and Safety objectives of JLG are met and a safe working environment is always maintained.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

- Certificate IV Work Health and Safety
- Current South Australian Driver’s Licence is essential.
- Ability to effectively communicate both written and verbal
- Good listening skills including the ability to follow instruction
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- Diploma of Work Health and Safety
- Recognised trainer/assessor qualifications.

EXPERIENCE:

- Proven experience in a health and safety role
- Demonstrated experience working in a challenging and high-pressure environment.
- Demonstrated background and experience in administering complex database management systems.
- Experience in designing and delivering health and safety training programs - preferably one which includes a blue-collar workforce is desirable.
- Experience in a manufacturing background is highly desirable.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS OF THE ROLE:

- Seated for extended periods of time.
- Strong time-management and prioritization skills, able to multi-task and prioritize competing requirements and meet deadlines.
