**About the role**:
**Your Team**:
The Monitoring, Analytics and Reporting Specialists (MARS) Branch supports the Scheme Actuary Division through ongoing monitoring and reporting on Scheme performance against key metrics. The reports are delivered to key stakeholders such as the Disability Ministers.

**Responsibilities may include but are not limited to**:

- Extract, clean and prepare of data from multiple sources, in particular the data warehouse.
- Efficiently use relevant software including Microsoft Office and SAS.
- Update and replication of regular performance monitoring.
- Utilise statistical and mathematical modelling techniques to undertake analytical work on a range of tasks, including actuarial monitoring and analyses, data tabulations, scheme projects and cost benefit analyses.
- Undertake ad hoc modelling requests and report production.
- Effectively communicate (verbally and in writing) the progress of work responsibilities and outcomes of work undertaken.

**MANDATORY**
- Experience working in a similar role under Australian rules and regulations
- Relevant academic qualifications including tertiary qualifications in Actuarial Studies or Mathematics/Statistics, progressing towards Associate and/or Fellowship qualifications.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, and proficiency in the use of IT systems including Microsoft Office
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Organisation and time management
- Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development
- The Agency Worker Screening Check. This is only applicable to some positions within the Agency that require the occupant to have access to classified Australian Government information.
- Current Police Check, o ability to obtain one
