**ADAS CONSULTANT PSYCHIATRIST**
**The Austin Drug and Alcohol Service (ADAS)** is one of five Specialist Pharmacotherapy Service providers in metropolitan Melbourne. ADAS is part of the Adult Directorate in the Austin Health’s Mental Health Division and is a specialized outpatient addiction service that aims to prevent and reduce harm to individuals, families and communities that are associated with substance use disorders.
**About the role**:
- ** Hours per week**: 10.5 hours
- ** Employment status: Permanent Part-time**
**To be successful for this role you must**:
- Be a registered Medical Practitioner with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- Hold a Fellowship of the Royal Australian & New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (RANZCP), or equivalent
- Have appropriate training and experience applicable to the field of Addiction Psychiatry
- Demonstrate a commitment to high quality patient care
- Demonstrate a commitment to working as a team member with peer medical, junior medical, nursing and other clinical staff to provide efficient, safe and quality care across the continuum, and
- Demonstrate a commitment to teaching, training and research.
