The Air Force Headquarters (AFHQ) High Frequency (HF) Program Support Officer will work as part of the HF Radar team in developing strategic briefs and capability plans. This role requires the Program Support Officer to provide advice to senior leaders, undertake capability and project monitoring/assurance, development of artefacts for Defence Committees, and other capability management functions.

**Deliverables**:
Primary:

- Leading AIR2025 project activities as directed to support successful Defence Committees and delivery of capability.
- Drafting, review, and coordination of supporting capability documentation including briefs internal and external to Air Force.
- Coordination of tasks and development of responses related to AIR2025 Program activities.
- Coordination of HF Technologies sub-program governance requirements including, meeting agendas, action item management and associated reporting.
- Coordination and development of supporting documents including AIR2025 Program and Capability-related Agreements.
- Acting as an AFHQ point of contact for HF Technologies responsive to HF Program Support Lead.

Secondary:

- Coordinating with WASS SPO for HF Technologies aspects relating to Air Force and Senior Defence Committee level reporting and artefact development in support.
- Provide support to HF Program Support Lead and DD HF Radar on capability related matters.
- Undertake other work as directed.

**Essential Criteria**:

- Experience relevant to the job/role description outlined above.
- Demonstrated experience in Defence Capability Management.
- Demonstrated experience in Project Management.
- Demonstrated ability to write strategic documentation supporting Government initiatives.
- Demonstrated experience in developing Capability Needs Statements, Business Cases, and other strategic artefacts supporting the delivery of Defence Capability.
- Ability to communicate at all levels across different professional disciplines.
- Demonstrated understanding of security classifications and marking of correspondence.
- Relevant industry experience of more than seven years.

**Desirable Criteria**:

- Experience with HF radar or related technologies.
