**What you'll do**

You will contribute to UniSQ’s teaching and applied research within the area of smart manufacturing and:

- develop and deliver of a number of courses and monitor, evaluate and continuously improve the quality of those courses;
- develop and implement engineering education innovations to efficiently access potential new engineering education markets;
- contribute to the School’s and University’s research effort.

**What will help you succeed**

Your relevant industry experience will be complemented by your well-developed interpersonal skills and commitment to delivering quality teaching in the area of Mechanical Engineering. Additionally you will have:

- a degree in Mechanical Engineering and a doctoral qualification (or progress towards) or equivalent accreditation and standing in the relevant discipline.
- broad teaching experience including curriculum development, program co-ordination and laboratory training covering areas of solid modelling, mechanical system design and manufacturing;
- demonstrated experience in engaging in research that provides the opportunity to collaborate with others, seeks to attract funding to support research, advances knowledge, and engages with industry.

Membership with an appropriate professional body (eg. Engineers Australia) will be highly regarded.
- One appointment will be made at either the Associate Lecturer or Lecturer level depending on your qualifications and experience._

**Associate Lecturer**: Total remuneration range $84,683 to $113,606 pa (includes salary range of $71,553 to $95,991 pa, employer superannuation contributions of 17% of salary and annual leave loading

**Lecturer**: Total remuneration range $119,401 to $141,128 pa (includes salary range of $100,888 to $119,246 pa, employer superannuation contributions of 17% of salary and annual leave loading
