**Position Descriptor**:
Berri Primary School is a friendly and welcoming learning community, situated 240kms from Adelaide in the Riverland region. The Riverland offers a wonderful lifestyle, with plenty of sporting activities to participate in.

At Berri Primary School we pride ourselves in using evidence-based practices to provide a high-quality education for our students. We have a daily focus on explicit reading instruction and numeracy programmes and review, using data sets to constantly asses student knowledge and skills, to assist with planning and delivery.

We are seeking an enthusiastic teacher committed to building strong relationships with students, staff and families to join our supportive team delivering quality education in our Junior Primary classrooms.

As a Category 2 site, extensive experience, skills and knowledge working with students with high behaviour support needs and a wide range of disabilities and learning difficulties is essential.
- Planning and delivering engaging lessons that meet the needs of all students,
- Collecting data as per our school's Assessment schedule and evaluating student progress,
- Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment,
- Collaborating with colleagues and participating in professional development opportunities; and
- Communicating effectively and professionally with students, staff and parents/carers.
