Our opportunity

Located six kilometres north of the Sydney CBD, Nine is the renewal of the former home of broadcasting. The 3-hectare site will accommodate over 450 luxury residential apartments and small-scale non-residential uses across a cluster of ten boutique buildings, ranging in height. The buildings will feature high-quality facades that integrate with the surrounding landscape and local character of Willoughby. Incorporating 6,500sqm* of open space, the development will include parks, gardens, lawns for active play, sheltered barbecues and a children’s playground for residents and the broader community.

As HSE Coordinator, you will oversee multi-staged projects and assist the Workplace Manager(s) in the day-to-day implementation of the Mirvac HSE Management Systems and Workplace Risk Management Plans. This is to ensure compliance with legislation, regulations and codes of practice, and Mirvac Group HSE objectives and targets. Your role will see you assist in reviews, risk assessment, reporting, scheduling of HSE activities, managing investigations and incidents, documentation governance, inspections, audits, and identifying and managing environmental risk work activities.

Your point of difference

Qualification(s) in a relevant field of study - currently studying or recent graduates are also encouraged to apply.
Experienced in a similar role on large building construction projects in a tier 1-2 developer builder or main contractor environment.
Strong communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills with the ability to drive HSE processes and procedures onsite, fostering a safety culture aligned to Mirvac’s Values
Strong interest and passion for HSE with the drive for growth and development in the space
Passionate about delivering customer focused quality, leaving a positive legacy in the communities in which you operate
