- Feb 27, 2024Tradewind are seeking a passionate and dedicated English/EAL teacher in to join an independent, co-educational non-denomination P-12 school spread over three vibrant campuses in Melbourne's West. Join this well-respected school in a full time, ongoing role, starting Term 1 this year.

**Demonstrated Experience and Skills**
- Develop and implement a comprehensive English/EAL curriculum aligned with educational standards and guidelines.
- Adapt curriculum materials to meet the diverse needs of students with varying language proficiency levels.
- Create engaging and effective lesson plans that address the four language skills: listening, speaking, reading, and writing.
- Differentiate instruction to accommodate students with varying abilities and language backgrounds.
- Collaborate with learning support staff to address the needs of students with diverse learning requirements.
- Engage in continuous professional development to stay updated on language education methodologies, educational technologies, and best practices.

**Skills & Experience**:

- Have unrestricted working rights in Australia
- Completed relevant Qualifications in Education
- Maintain a valid and up-to-date VIT registration
- Experience in teaching Secondary English in Australia and EAL prefrenced
- Ability to provide contact details for two education-based references from within the last 5 years (student-teacher mentors are acceptable).
