Seeking an experienced Quality Advisor to work on a major Railway project | Government role

**Your new company**

A major Government department based in Perth CBD, is seeking an experienced Quality Advisory to support a major railway project. You will be required to work in between the Perth CBD office, as well as various site locations. Initially you will be engaged on a temporary basis through Hays for up to 12-months, and will be paid on a competitive hourly rate.

**Your new role**

As the Quality Advisor you will be responsible for coordinating the department's quality management and audit program, working closely on a major infrastructure project. Your duties will include:

- Maintain the Quality Management System to align with ISO AS/NZA ISO 9001 requirements
- Coordinate audits on suppliers and internal processes, preparing reports on auditing findings accordingly
- Coordinate the project internal audit program to address quality, risk and rail safety requirements
- Identify and implement best practice OS&H and rail safety processes
- Assist in the development on quality plans and procedures
- Provide specialist advice to senior staff members and contractors around quality matters as required
- Participate in risk assessment workshops and onsite meetings

**What you'll need to succeed**

In order to be considered for this role you will demonstrate previous Quality Advisor/Assurance experience, ideally within a position focused around railway safety. In addition, you will display:

- A Tertiary or equivalent qualification in a relevant field or discipline
- Previous experience in a Civil Construction environment would be an advantage
- Excellent communication skills (written, interpersonal and verbal)
- Strong analytical and technical skills
- The ability to complete a National Police Clearance if successful post interview
- A current WA 'C' or 'C-A' Class Driver's License
