**About the opportunity**

Your day-to-day responsibilities will also include:

- Assist in the implementation of best practice workers’ compensation and injury management strategies, initiatives and systems to continually improve current and future performance
- Provide advice, guidance and support to the business on all workers’ compensation and injury management including early intervention and stay at work initiatives
- Coordinate the rehabilitation of injured employees following an injury with support and guidance from the Senior Rehabilitation Adviser, including development and updating of return to work/rehabilitation programs, maintaining accurate case notes
- Provide education to management and staff to ensure they understand their rights and responsibilities in relation to workers’ compensation and injury management
- Engage in workplace meetings, case conferences and claims reviews
- Measure performance, trends and report on all workers’ compensation and injury management matters including external providers
- Maintain data information in the injury management system/database
- Occasional interstate travel from time to time

**We would love to hear from you if you have**
- Return to Work Coordinator Certification for VIC or equivalent experience
- Experience in injury management and rehabilitation, or other relevant discipline
- Experience in providing advice in workers’ compensation and injury rehabilitation/case management
- Sound communication and interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to build constructive and effective relationships, and negotiate with and influence relevant internal and external stakeholders
- Organisational skills with demonstrated experience managing multiple priorities, ensuring accurate timely record keeping and communication with key parties
- Allied Health Professional Qualifications (Desirable)
