**THE ROLE**
An excellent career opportunity exists in the company’s state-of-the-art hatchery facility for a Supervisor to provide technical and management support on all matters relevant to hatchling production including animal welfare, biosecurity and food safety.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Liaise with company personnel and service providers on production activities.
- Monitoring and calibration of hatchery equipment
- Assist with egg receival, storage and set preparations.
- Assist with record keeping, reporting and documentation.
- Assist with staff rostering.
- Communicate of problems/issues to management. Adapt approaches to minimise future recurrence.

**REQUIREMENTS**
- Agriculture/animal science tertiary qualification and/or prior experience working within a poultry hatchery environment.
- Understanding of livestock production systems and a desire to work with intensive livestock.
- Strong communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work efficiently when unsupervised.
- Effective time management skills, ability to prioritise, multi-task and ensure urgent matters are dealt with promptly.
- Competent skills with Microsoft Office programs.
- Current driver’s licence.
