Ndt Technician

**SafeRad SE Asia Pty Ltd are currently seeking NDT Technicians for Full Time Permanent based in our Kwinana site Western Australia and must be available for FIFO work across Australia working under SafeRad or site EBA conditions.**

**Hours Basic Full time (38hrs) with Salary Range $95,000 - $100,000 plus superannuation.**
- **Essential Criteria for Technicians**:_
- *PCN/ AINDT /ASNT level 2 Radiography with a Minimum of 3 years’ experience using close proximity Radiography - as a must
- WA Radiation Licence or Assistants Licence_
- Current and Valid Driver's License_
- Be able to pass a Pre-Employment medical including D&A Fitness for work (essential)_
- **Key responsibilities**:_
- Carry out and certify NDT inspections_
- Interpret and evaluate results in terms of existing codes, standards and specifications_
- Detect and identify defects and assist in drafting reports_
- Where trained and deemed competent operate applicable workshop plant, tools and equipment._
- Maintain and calibrate NDT equipment_
- Maintain complete work files and relevant documentation, showing detailed entries of work performed_
- Assist in training and supervision of others ensuring quality standards are maintained_
- Actively participate in continuous improvement activities and identify opportunities for improvement in processes, working practices and team efficiency,_
- Working with attention to detail in a Quality controlled manner_
- Prioritise own workload within overall Departmental and Company requirements_
- Perform duties of technicians in manner to reduce client's downtime_
- Take on additional tasks apart from core responsibilities when assigned_
- Perform any other related duties as required by the Operations Manager_
- **Other Requirements**_
- Utilise IT systems as appropriate_
- Be aware of, and adhere to company policies and procedures_
- Maintain positive working relationships with all internal departments and attend meetings if requested_
- Adhere to all Environmental Health and Safety Regulations, Business Ethics and financial controls_
- Observe safety rules and procedures_
- Report unsafe conditions and practices and make safety suggestions_
- The Successful applicants would become a valued and integral part of the SafeRad Company_
- The Successful applicants will train personnel in the use of SafeRad Close Proximity Radiography Systems including a variety Of Computed and Real Time Radiography Systems. These are the safest Radiography Systems in the world for Technicians and clients._
