Orthotic Technician

**Queensland Orthotic Lab is an industry leader in the manufacture of custom-made foot orthotics and ankle braces.**

We supply our hand-crafted and 3D-printed orthotics and braces to podiatrists in Australia and South-East Asia. Our orthotics and braces help podiatrists change the quality of their patients' lives.

**Do you have a combination of the following qualities?**
- An eye for detail and good fine hand control;
- Pride in completing nneatwork;
- When shown something do you pick it up quickly?
- Are you self-motivated, able to organize yourself, and keep on track?

**We have a vacancy in our workshop which involves**:

- Pouring plaster casts, freehand plaster shaping;
- Gluing and vacuum moulding;
- Using grinding machines for shaping materials;
- Material preparation and workshop cleaning.

**We will provide all on-the-job training with the ability to progress through various departments in the company. The following attributes would assist**:

- A record of school manual arts performance if you're a recent school leaver;
- Details of other jobs which have helped you to develop manual skills;
- Hobbies wthatcan assist in illustrating the qualities mentioned above.

**Employment Basis**
- Full-time, Monday to Friday.

**Remuneration**
- $50-55,000 per annum plus superannuation
