As the backbone of technical support, you'll provide quality administrative and technical assistance, ensuring efficient customer service and accurate record-keeping.
**About the role**:
- Provide administrative and technical support to the section.
- Respond to customer inquiries and provide friendly customer service.
- Maintain accurate records and process correspondence.
- Assess and issue consents and permits for works affecting council roadways.
- Coordinate street lighting repair/replacement.
- Assess and approve shared boundary fence repairs/replacements.
- Collate engineering data and issue legal point of discharge certificates.
- Contribute to risk management practices.
**Benefits**:
- Work with a local council in Werribee.
- 1-month assignment with potential extension.
- 38 hours per week Monday - Friday.
- $34.79p/h + Super.
**About you**:
- Demonstrated competence in delivering high-quality administrative and customer support.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to learn and adapt to new computer programs and office processes.
- Effective time management and ability to work in a team.
- Strong customer service and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in reading civil engineering plans is desirable.
- Possess a current Victorian Driver's License.
