Mathews Furniture is looking for a trade qualified upholsterer to join their team.

We are a small family business who manufacture sofas, chairs & bedheads for both the Commerical and Residential markets.

Duties will include but are not limited to:

- Cutting (as required), calculating fabric requirements
- Foaming
- Upholstery of lounges, chairs, recliners, bedheads
- Quality control of your work
- Willing to assist others within the project as required

- Legally allowed to work full-time in Australia
- Certificate IV in Upholstery or equivalent
- Show enthusiasm and work consistently
- Able to communicate clearly
- Work well in a team and be able to take instructions from supervisors
- Work consistently with repetitive tasks
- Experience with hand tools
- A practical, hands-on, mature attitude and a solid work ethic
- Proven accuracy and efficiency in your work
- The ability to multi-task with the ability to work to set deadlines
- Be reliable
- Have the ability to work independently and show initiative
- Have excellent time management skills
- Focus on quality with strong attention to detail when reading paperwork

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Subcontract, Casual
Part-time hours: 24-30 per week

**Salary**: $27.00 - $35.00 per hour

**Benefits**:

- Visa sponsorship

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay

Ability to commute/relocate:

- PROSPECT, SA 5082: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Upholstery: 4 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Certificate IV Upholstery or equivalent (required)
