**About the role**

A key member of the Regional Management Team, this position will provide direction, support and advice to our teams across both New South Wales and the ACT. Based in Sydney, the Regional Engineering Manager will be responsible for ensuring compliance with our policies, procedures and standards across our projects in these two states.
- This is a hands on role which requires the incumbent to be a clear and concise communicator who is able to build mutually respected relationships both internally and externally with our clients, consultants, designers, subcontractors etc.- You will be required to support the delivery of projects through sound and compliant design and engineering management practices and solutions which drive positive safety, economic, program and risk outcomes
- Conduct engineering reviews of contracts in progress
- Prepare engineering documentation and presentation material for the project
- Specify inspection and testing requirements for temporary works fabrication and installation
- Prepare relevant Construction Execution Procedures (CEP’s) for project personnel and for submission to the Client
- Ensure project close out reports adequately address all historically relevant technical matters
- Provide support to projects on construction (temporary and permanent works) details including drawing and technical documentation as required
- Selection, coordination and direction of external engineering consultants for the project

**About you**
- Chartered Engineer in Civil, Structural or Mechanical Engineering
- Demonstrated capability in management of multi discipline engineering teams and in the development of innovative solutions to technical, complex issues.
- Manage own work performance and actively seek coaching, feedback, learning and development opportunities.
- Competent understanding of relevant Australian and international codes and standards, Safety in Design process and risk and contingency assessments
- Experience working on and around complex construction projects with a fresh perspective
