The Opportunity
Boeing Defence Australia (BDA) is looking for their next Work Management Analyst to join the C-17A Production Team. This role is integral to supporting the RAAF C-17A Program and wider Enterprise.
This role executes elements of support program activities to include support system analysis, spares, provisioning, technical data, training maintenance/modifications, support equipment and facilities. Develops support program plans and schedules, validates standard deliverables and supports trade studies for platform subsystems. Researches, documents and provides technical information and supports the establishment of processes to develop and maintain support products, engineering data and integrated support infrastructure
To succeed in this role, the most important two elements are good communication skills, both written and verbal, and a comfort using and developing the use of Enterprise IT systems (we'll mostly be using JIRA which you can learn).

**Responsibilities**:

- Developing and running the Enterprise Task Management System that tracks new work from a good idea through to incorporation.
- Customising JIRA to efficiently and transparently manage all work for RAAF C-17A.
- Acting as the single-entry point for new C-17A work proposals.
- Ensuring that all work is correctly assessed and prioritised in collaboration with the RAAF and our team Subject Matter Experts.
- Transferring work to the right team for execution at the right time.
- Monitoring Enterprise performance by extracting business intelligence from our work management system, including task throughput and backlog size metrics.
- Helping us automate and connect the separate business management tools in use.
- Leading the consistent use of the Task Management System across the Program.

Experience/Qualifications
- A diversity of technical acumen within the team would be desirable so you can understand what the work is that you'll be helping manage.
- Project Management Fundamentals course (PMBoK, Prince, Agile) or equivalent is desirable.
- Practitioner knowledge of JIRA, Confluence & SharePoint is desirable

About Us
The C-17A Production Team delivers and sustains the Enterprise requirements by prioritising, coordinating and communicating all work executed by BDA within the RAAF C-17A Enterprise, with Program Management Best Practices as its guide. It is the single-entry point for all new work so that all work requiring completion by the Program can be observed, prioritised, and resourced within the custodianship of the Task Management System. The Task Management System provides an unbroken link between Enterprise priorities and an individual or team workload.
