**The Opportunity**

DT Infrastructure has been entrusted with the crucial role of managing the design and construction of the maintenance facility at Ormeau, solidifying our position as a key player in infrastructure sector, and building on our Transport delivery experience over the last 10 years across Australia. This achievement marks our largest contract ever in Queensland and underscores our expertise in delivering complex infrastructure projects.

Reporting to the Environmental & Sustainability Manager you will hold full responsibility for managing sustainability across the project.

**Your responsibilities will include, but not limited to**.
- Ensuing that the SMP is effectively established, implemented, and maintained at the project level
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant statutes, regulations, rules, procedures, standards and policies
- Provide specialist sustainability advice to all functional managers, particularly Design, Procurement, Commercial and Construction, to ensure sustainability obligations are integrated across all Project delivery functions
- Promote sustainability in design by facilitating opportunities workshops and assisting with follow-up for selected initiatives, as relevant.
- Interface with, and report to, key Project stakeholders in relation to sustainability issues
- Participate in environment, sustainability, design, construction and commercial meetings as required.
- Implement and deliver sustainability outcomes consistent with sustainability requirements, including IS rating requirements
- Report on compliance and against sustainability requirements
- Establish Program and project controls and reporting systems across the works for sustainability performance monitoring against desired targets
- Demonstrate continuous improvement of management systems based on senior management reviews
- Manage specialist consultants to ensure all contract requirements are met.

**What Capability & Experience will you need to have**:

- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Environmental Science, Engineering or similar
- Demonstrated experience in a similar role (infrastructure preferred) 5-6 years ideally
- ISAP accreditation
- Experience with ISC certifications and compliance
- A passion for developing and implementing sustainable solutions
