**Job description**:
Renowned as one of the most innovative and respected commercial and residential builders in South Australia, this contractor takes pride in their full-service approach and dedication to thinking outside of the box. Producing a variety of medium density works, they specialise in the delivery of architectural design homes, stylish high-end apartment builds and retirement living and government housing solutions. As their pipeline of works continues to grow, this business is looking for an Accounts payable/ receivable Officer to join their team.

**The Role**:
In your new role, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day accounts operations of this dynamic, authentic, and personable construction company. This role as Accounts Payable/ Receivable will be responsible for efficiently managing the receivables and payables of the organisation.
- Generate and process invoices
- Bank reconciliations and reports.
- Process end-to-end accounts payable and receivable
- Manage the month end process
- Maintaining accurate payable and receivable records

**The ideal**
To be successful in this role you will have a positive, can-do attitude, and the ability to show initiative when managing various tasks. A demonstrated history of 2+ years’ experience in a similar role is essential, as well as a thorough understanding of software MYOB or Xero and the Microsoft Office Suite. To be successful in this role you will have exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing priorities and a diverse workload when managing various tasks. Experience in the construction industry isn’t essential, but the ideal applicant will have an easy-going attitude and the ability to communicate and interact with people of all levels.
