Our growth period is continuing & we are looking for **three (3) new Local Area Coordinators **to join our NDIS LAC Partner in the Community team at our Maroochydore office. Come and join us as we widen our reach in the community and continue to help those in need on the beautiful Sunshine Coast This position will deliver the NDIS LAC PITC program, providing information and support to participants, families and carers to develop, record and implement their NDIS Plan and build community inclusion and capacity. Our LACs are our front line, serving the community by:

- Delivering the NDIS LAC PITC program
- Building capacity and providing information to individuals, families and carers to identify their goals, strengths and needs, to plan for their future based on person-centred principles
- Developing and monitoring participant plans to ensure meaningful change is achieved
- Building and maintaining a current working knowledge of local community supports and services
- Maintaining appropriate administrative records utilising the NDIS data system in a timely manner
- Undertaking the day-to-day operations of the role in a way that promotes independence, empowerment and involvement of persons with disability.
- Working with participants in crisis situations (both virtually and face-to-face)

**What can you bring to this role?**:

- Qualifications in the fields of human services, social sciences or disability, or comparable lived experience with disability or delivering human services
- The ability to work in an **autonomous environment and manage a case load**:

- **High level of communication skills**, both written and verbal, and the ability to build rapport and adapt skills according to the audience or target group involved
- The ability and skills to be a **team player and someone who thrives in a busy, dynamic environment**:

- **Experience/knowledge around entering information into databases with a high level of accuracy and detail,** while adhering to government reporting requirements
