**About the job**

Are you a night owl? Working on night shift, you will be joining our amazing and enthusiastic Central Operations crew to perform dive duties alongside the ‘Aqua Spa’ - Tassal’s very own well boat - to support our Atlantic salmon bathing process.

Based out of our picturesque Dover site (just an hour and 15 minute drive south of Hobart), you will also have the opportunity to work out our other south-eastern Marine Operations sites. Working across a 1 week on, 1 week off roster (11.4 hour shifts), you will enjoy a fantastic work/life balance.

As a Diver at Tassal, you will receive a **$100 dive allowance** **per dive day** in addition to earning a rate of **$37.08 per hour**. And to top it all off, a 30% night shift loading applies

You will be covering duties such as:

- Underwater net inspections and repairs
- Mort retrieval
- Net scoring and mooring checks
- Fish schooling and behavioural observation
- Assisting with general farm attendant duties

**About you**

We’re looking for a qualified diver with previous experience working on the water. In addition to this, we’re looking for the following qualities:

- A minimum of a Certificate III in Aquaculture Dive or an ADAS Aquaculture SSBA to 30 metres commercial dive qualification (essential)
- Coxswain ticket (highly regarded)
- Physically fit and strong
- Have the right to work full time in Australia
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical assessment and drug test
