With an automated home loan origination platform in place, we are now looking for an experienced **Credit Assessor **who can bring knowledge to our business and help champion new ways of working and enhance IMB’s capability and speed to deliver a great experience to our lenders and customers.

As a Credit Assessor working at IMB, the primary objective is to help IMB’s front line and assessment teams deliver on our members financial goals and dreams. Responsible for the assessment and decisioning of both personal and home loans and at times more complex deals, IMB Credit Assessors work with our lenders and other parties to ensure deals are structured and submitted in line with policy, compliance, and service level standards in a digital environment.

**We’d love to hear from you if you have**:

- Proficient credit skills/experience in residential lending - preferably using Lendfast or a similar automated system
- A "can do" approach to underwriting in a high volume assessment environment with a genuine customer service ethic
- The ability to foster great working relationships and work together to meet turnaround times and service levels
- Commercial acumen with the ability to help lenders through a deal and offer alternative solutions when needed
- An informed knowledge of retail lending practices including policy, valuations and mortgage insurance and regulatory requirements and legislation
- Effective problem solving skills with a high level of financial literacy and analysis capability
- Proficient technology and effective communication skills
- The capacity to embrace and contribute to change, help drive improvements and adapt to changing processes in the workplace.
