Au Pair/nanny

**Job Description**:
**Our Family**:

- We are a family of four looking for an au pair or nanny to help out our family starting in April 2024. We are two parents and two boys aged 2 and 4. The 4 yr old is fun and cheeky who loves playing ‘chasy’ and ‘monsters’ and telling stories. Our other son is 2 year old who adores smiles, songs, dogs and his Teddy. Both will be in daycare but will need someone they know and trust (and love) looking after them before and after. You will also care for them a full 1 day a week.

**Your Duties**:

- Our current au pair looks after the boys 06:30-08:30 in the mornings, drops them off to daycare, and then picks them up at 4/4:30 and brings them home. My husband and I are usually home by 6-6:30. In the afternoon hours she plays with them, makes dinner for them and gets them ready for bed. One day a week (tuesday at the moment) she spends the whole day with them rather than them going to daycare. This arrangement is flexibile and the day can be negotiated. Occasionally my husband or I will be home after 6:30 (e.g. 7) so we are looking for someone who can be slightly flexible. We are both doctors at local hospitals and occasional have emergencies to deal with after usual work times. We are very flexible and happy to discuss requirements. We have a separate bedroom/bathroom in our house, fully contained which we can offer for you to live in. Pay is negotiable depending on if live in (rent and food covered) or live our (care giving fee only)

**Our Perfect Caregiver**:

- We have had au pairs in the past and this worked well for us, but are open to a live out option as well. We are looking for someone who is fun, happy, creative, friendly and loving. Our boys love playing and laughing and we're looking for someone who will look after them but also make them happy. We like to keep our house fairly tidy (difficult with two boys running around) and expect a level of cleaning up after them/their rooms/the breakfast table.
