The primary role of the Electrical Supervisor QA/QC, will be to carry out a wide range of tasks across project activities from planning, coordinating and supervising daily activities of work crews, ensuring compliance with internal, client and legislative HSE requirements through to ensuring that the quality, production and environmental requirements of the project are met. Supervisors will also drive a safety first work culture that ensures an injury free work environment.
As a key driver of Best Practice across the project, your responsibilities will include:
- Participation in the site safety initiatives and procedures and embracing the work culture.
- Ensure all QA information, documentation, records are compiled and completed correctly and that all work is executed in accordance with client and industry standards and procedures.
- Assist management with quality functions including planning, preventive action, non-conformance control, corrective action, audits and quality reporting and review.
- Work with E&I Supervisors to ensure all electrical and instrumentation activities are carried out in accordance with drawings, standards, regulatory obligations, and client specifications.
- Demonstrate in depth knowledge of testing requirements as per AS3000
From time to time, you maybe required to assist the team with duties that include:
- Monitoring of the contractor’s daily works, including quality inspection, daily progress reporting and leading indicator safety leadership activities.
- Overseeing and managing our assets including people, plant and equipment, to achieve operational outcomes and targets.
- Enabling efficient execution of the scope by guiding the contractor’s teams in the installation, inspection and testing of systems, and identifying and correcting deficiencies.
- Ensuring team output and KPI’s are on track, in line with Company objectives.
- Assisting in interactions with mine operations and other contractors.
- Monitoring and review risk register development and implementation of mitigations.
- Reviewing of construction permits.
- Reviewing of the contractor's work packaging and detailed planning.

- A minimum of 4 years' experience in a supervisory QA/QC role.
- Your demonstrated commitment to ensuring a safe working environment.
- Proven and executed track record in effective health and safety management on site.
- Experience in effective planning, scheduling, management of personnel, resources and equipment to meet Project requirements.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
