- As a member of the Urology Unit and Clinical Business Unit at the Royal Melbourne Hospital the Fellow will be involved in both clinical and research activities.
- The Department of Urology offers comprehensive urological services from the Royal Melbourne Hospital City Campus to the neighbouring Royal Women's Hospital and the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre. The Department provides specialised clinical services for adult urological conditions including urological cancers, stone disease and continence problems.The Urology Outpatients unit provide specialist multidisciplinary clinics and out-patient diagnostic services.
- All Fellows work will be under the direct supervision of the Head of Unit or the supervision of a nominated staff urologist at some or all of following locations, the Royal Melbourne Hospital, Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre, Epworth Hospital Service, Royal Womens Hospital, Frankston Hospital, Rosebud Hospital and Broadmeadows Helath Services.
- Fellows will be extensively trained in robotic surgery as our Fellowship specialises in this program.

- Strong leadership and organisational skills
- Excellent strategic thinking and planning abilities
- Proven track record in clinical excellence
- High level of professionalism, maturity, reliability and integrity
- You will be required to be involved in clinical activities within the unit including but not limited to:
- Preparing, attending and presenting cases for MDM discussion weekly
- Attending outpatients clinics including specialist clinics
- Assessment of emergency patients and clinical trial patients
- Assisting and performing robotic laparoscopic and open surgery in the the operating theatre
