This privately owned Retirement Living and Aged Care provider has various locations across Queensland. They provide experienced, flexible, and innovative care solutions to ensure client's choice and dignity come first as well as meeting current and future care needs.

An exciting opportunity has become available for experienced and passionate **Regional Care & Compliance Manager **who is looking to join a supportive team and make a positive impact on the lives of their clients. If you’re devoted to providing safe, high-quality, family-orientated care for your clients and working amongst a supportive team, we’d love to hear from you.

**About the Role**:
Reporting to Executive Care Manager, you will be based at the Brendale office providing support with a range of quality and compliance activities including but not limited to:

- Overseeing and supporting Care Managers (Home Care Packages Program, Community Nursing Program) across a small portfolio of communities (Retirement Village) across the Brisbane North - Sunshine Coast location
- Conducting and reporting on outcomes of quality and compliance audits and activities across the business
- Identifying and responding to risk, implementing, and monitoring corrective actions to address any deficiencies identified in keeping with our commitment to continuous improvement
- Mentoring and training care workforce to build capability and ensure ongoing compliance and the delivery of safe and effective care and services
- Ensuring cohesive and collaborative culture to support all care business key deliverables
- This role is Monday to Friday, however from time to time you may need to support a 7-day business, taking after-hour calls and/or supporting critical situations

**Required Skills & Experience**
- Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (APHRA) as a Registered Nurse
- Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage broad audiences
- Comprehensive working knowledge of the Aged Care Quality Standards, Accreditation processes, and other relevant legislation.
- Proven ability to work independently, autonomously, and as part of a team
- Ability to develop strong relationships with a range of stakeholders
- Evidence of clinical leadership skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- High level of computer literacy and documentation skills
- Passion for collaborating with others and making a difference.
- First Aid and CPR Certificate
- Current Police check
- Covid-19 vaccine evidence
- Current Drivers Licence
- Able and willing to frequently travel to communities within an hour from Brisbane
- Rights to work in Australia
