With the school focusing on hands-on exploration and visible learning they are seeking a passionate specialist **Visual Art Teacher**, looking to step into a **Part-time (**0.6) Teaching Load** (Tues - Thurs).

The Role:

- Teach Art as a specialty, to keen students across Years 1-6
- Create a nurturing learning environment that is cooperative, supportive, and student-centred.
- Effectively collaborate with peers to develop and implement a quality education that reflects the appropriate pedagogy
- Assess, provide feedback, and report student learning
- Practively seek and engage in professional learning to enhance student outcomes

About You:

- A genuine passion for teaching Art and creating interesting lessons for students
- Proven organisational skills
- Exemplary interpersonal and communication skills, when speaking with students, staff, and parents
- Shown commitment to engaging with staff, students, and families to achieve the best outcomes
- Commitment to child safety

Pre-requisites:

- Tertiary Education (i.e. Bachelor's Degree)
- Currently, hold or be eligible to hold registration with the Victorian Insitute of Learning (VIT)
