Powder Coater

Bentrol is a rapidly expanding switchboard and switchroom manufacturer with clients across Australia and projects spanning from the industrial to domestic sectors.

We are searching for a painter / powder coater to help in our powder coating and fabrication department. The role is full time with overtime available.

This role reports directly to the Fabrication Supervisor and you will be working alongside our existing powder coating team.

**Role Responsibilities**
- Painting of steel and timber structures (switchrooms, buildings, etc)
- Powder coating steel and aluminium enclosures.
- Preparing enclosures for powder coat.
- Assembly of enclosures after powder coating.
- Working alongside our team to get projects completed on time.
- Assist with other sheet metal processes where required.

**Requirements**:

- Basic hand & power tool knowledge.
- Ability to work well independently.
- Be physically fit (manual handling involved).
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work in a high pace environment.

**Preferred Skills**
- Forklift license.
- Experience with powder coating.
- Experience with sheet metal fabrication.

**Salary**: $25.00 - $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 38 per week

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Overtime

**Experience**:

- Powder Coating or Spray Painting: 1 year (preferred)
