**Production Supervisor**:

- Immediate start, Rooty Hill location, on site parking
- Highly supportive, team orientated, and values driven organisation
- Permanent rate of $40 to $45 ph based on experience + Super

**Our Client**:
Our client is a family-owned business with years of experience in the warehouse/manufacturing industry and has a growing focus on workplace health and safety, they have developed a range of practical and robust safety products. Their core values are integrity, focus, openness, consistency and a commitment to exceed expectations. The company promotes positive working relationships and is now looking for an experienced Production Supervisor / Manufacturing Supervisor to lead the team.

**The role**:

- Lead the workshop floor staff and activities
- Provide specific training, safety leadership, and quality workmanship demonstrated to all team members
- Ensure quality standards are upheld internally and support a quality culture
- Driving WHS initiatives and promote a strong safety culture
- Ensure job tickets are comprehended and instructions are clarified.
- Run the production line with maximum efficiency
- Develop, update and review SOPs
- Hands-on participation with weekly scheduled works
- Oversee the maintenance of machinery and operational equipment
- Supervise both direct and indirect labor, along with managing raw material expenses for the production lines.
- Ensure the production areas are organised and kept in a tidy and safe manner
- Hold weekly staff meetings to ensure all site staff are compliant

**Essential skills**:

- Forklift licence
- Degree or Trade qualifications
- Welding/Fabrication
- Team leadership experience
- Ability to solve problems and think outside the box
- Very strong attention to detail
- Experience in machine shop operations - hands-on with laser/milling machines and welding
- Ability to organise and delegate work.
- Ability to plan and problem-solve
- Always demonstrate a “right-first-time” approach
- Hands-on leadership with a can-do attitude
- Scheduling machine time/products exp
