**The new QHE Manager's role**
- Lead and Coordinate Malteurop’s CSR programmes, ISO and FSSC programmes, QHE initiatives and projects, and various Compliance requirements to meet relevant standards and drive improvements,
- Lead and actively participate in QHE ISOs / FSSC and Customer audits to ensure Company compliance,
- Secure adequate Labour coverage and Supplies for the Laboratories and the micro malting program so it provides the required outcome for the production department,
- Lead the external Laboratories testing and inter-Laboratory proficiency schemes (MAPS, HARAM, etc.),
- Review, comment and validate all daily results before presentation and coordinate with the production and the procurement departments at new crop transition,
- Provide statistical analysis of our QHE programs, develop the performance and BU results,
- Implement a cross check quality program to develop the reliability and the performance of our laboratories
- Develop the Food Safety, QHSE Integrated Management System in coordination with the Safety Manager, the Plant Manager, and the Regional Operations Manager
- Identifies and communicates trends in barley procured, in malt produced, in maltshipments
- Ensure the FSMS is established, implemented, maintained and updated. Regular operational audits in the plants are expected
- Develop and promote the Food Safety culture within Malteurop Australia and New Zealand.
- Ensure adherence and obligation to observe all environment and health requirements fora safe workplace in accordance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act 2004 & Environment Protection Act 2017 (Vic)

**What you'll need to succeed**

Solid experience in and skill in QHE management and related systems, experience with ISO and FSSC

Experience in the food industry is necessary, brewing industry experince is advantageous.

Solid experience and skill in laboratory techniques,

Good standard of skill in MS office suite of products and exposure to ERP systems, SAP is advantageous.

Good organisational skills with the ability to problem-solve, plan and manage projects,

Excellent verbal and written communication skills,

Well-developed literacy and numeracy skills,

Good people management skills
