**About the Role**

Aramex Sydney is currently seeking a Nightshift Operations Manager to lead and manage the entire night shift operations team including freight sortation, freight distribution to sub-depots, problem freight management, and linehaul loading/unloading.

The role is primarily based in Chullora, however will include travel to the other sub-depot locations on a weekly basis.

**Key responsibilities include**:

- Meet sortation deadlines accurately and efficiently, ensuring freight sorting and driver bays are prepared prior to 6am commencement
- Ensure all sortation contractors and employees are adequately trained and familiar with site and company WHS requirements including Safe Operating Procedures and work instructions
- Provide frequent feedback to all employees and contractors regarding performance and implement and reinforce best practice systems and procedures to improve knowledge, skill and compliance
- Undertake analysis and daily/weekly/monthly reporting of results and activity which relates to freight sortation, WHS matters, workforce improvements and challenges
- Ensure all WHS policies and procedures are adhered to and drive a safety focused workplace

**To be successful in this role**:

- Minimum of 2 years management, or team leadership role in a similar type of role
- Ability to communicate effectively at all business levels
- Experience managing performance of people to targets
- Ability to quickly identify issues and provide appropriate solutions
- Work health & safety focused mindset
- Competent with Microsoft tools, including Excel and Word
- Must be fully vaccinated against COVID 19
- Must have full Australian working rights or valid work visa
