Mechanical Fitter/shore Officer

This is a great opportunity for someone who likes variety in their day to day activities and enjoys working across different tasks.

This unique position offers a a blend of mechanical fitting at our Brendale branch, in delivering energy and emissions management and solutions to our clients. In addition you will work with our shipping team at Brisbane Port as we train you to qualify as a Shipping Officer to support our busy operations.

We would love to talk to people with a mechanical background to explore how your skills and experience will transfer and complement our services and wider team experience - the critical part is finding someone who will integrate well into our team and be able to contribute to the delivery of high-quality services.

**Role responsibilities include**:

- Installation, commissioning and decommissioning of fuel tanks and fuel management systems
- Maintenance and repair of fuel systems including tanks, pumps, dispensers, pipelines, instruments, fuel trailers and associated equipment
- Supporting alternative energy solutions and emissions management
- Pump upgrades and replacements
- Leading and managing discharge procedures during shipping operations
