CNC Operator

Our client is a dynamic Western Australian company with a global reach, specializing in Project Management and Engineering services for various industries such as Defence, Mining, Marine, and Oil & Gas. _**They are currently seeking an experienced and qualified CNC Operator to join their team based in Henderson.**_
- **About the Role**:_As a CNC Operator, you will be responsible for operating IKAD's Ficep Gemini and other CNC Plate Processing machines. Reporting to the Processing Coordinator, you will also be responsible for the following:

- Loading, unloading, and monitoring steel plates
- Monitoring consumables stock levels
- Interpreting and understanding engineered drawings
- Measuring and recording processed sizes within required tolerances
- Monitoring progress against delivery schedules
- Maintaining equipment and machinery in accordance with QC standards
- Testing and calibrating equipment under relevant supervision
- Ensuring that tools and equipment are clean, complete, and safe.

- **What You'll Bring to the Team**:_
- Experience operating CNC Plate Processing machines, preferably the FICEP Gemini model
- Fabrication industry background
- Willingness to support production targets and goals
- Organised and thorough in all aspects of work
- Reliable and self-motivated
- Excellent communication skills across all levels of an organisation
- Experience in programming, nesting, and drafting would be advantageous

**Job Type**: Casual

**Salary**: From $45.00 per hour
