- $39.80 p/h weekdays after induction, plus salary packaging (pay less tax)

Our client is a young man with a great love for music, especially the guitar, and attends musical therapy sessions regularly. We are looking for passionate support workers to work with our client in Curlewis.

**Essential experience**
- Experience supporting people with epilepsy
- Experience with catheter care, bowel care, peg feeding, oxygen level monitoring and suctioning
- Experience with manual handling including hoisting
- Experience and understanding in supporting people with an ABI

Our clients may have physical disability, acquired brain injury, neurological conditions, intellectual disability or autism. We're honoured that many of our clients rely solely on InLife for their essential support needs. Nobody else. Just us.

Our teams are based in Melbourne, Geelong and regional Victoria, including Benalla, Wangaratta, Stawell and Bendigo.

**To do a great job, you'll need**:

- Good judgement and common sense, listening skills, a willingness to learn and a commitment to our values.
- Experience in personal care (showering and dressing) assistance with domestic duties
- Experience supporting people with a physical disability including transfers/use of equipment and confidence in hoisting
- Willing to put in the time and energy to build rapport with your client
- Experience supporting people with high complex needs
- Open to activities supporting clients with their hobbies like bike riding, playing musical instruments, exercise, arts and crafts, DIY projects and sightseeing
- Enthusiasm and passion for supporting people with disabilities to live great lives. Commitment to working with a care team approach, including guidance from professionals. For example, supporting our clients to complete a regular physiotherapy program
- Willing to work varied night shifts which includes sleepovers and active night shifts. We also need you to be able to commit to ongoing shifts, based on your availability

As part of our recruitment process, certain checks will be undertaken with your permission, including an NDIS Worker Screening Check that you must have before you can start work.
