- Efficiently manage appointment scheduling, harmonizing healthcare professionals' availability and optimizing patient flow.
- Gather patient data, meticulously update electronic medical records, and ensure comprehensive form completion and documentation.
- Verify insurance details, secure required authorizations, and proficiently address billing queries following established protocols.
- Field phone calls, provide general information, and guide patients and callers to the appropriate department or healthcare expert.
- Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure seamless patient flow, minimizing wait times and enhancing daily operational efficiency.
- Uphold the reception area's cleanliness and organization, creating a welcoming ambiance for patients.
- Stay abreast of clinic policies, procedures, and healthcare regulations, offering accurate and up-to-date information to patients and peers.
- Proven track record in medical reception or similar roles within specialized clinics.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, facilitating effective interaction with patients, colleagues, and healthcare professionals.
- Exemplary organizational aptitude, attention to detail, and adeptness at managing multiple tasks.
- Acquaintance with medical terminology, insurance processes, and billing practices.
- Ability to maintain composure and professionalism even in high-pressure situations.
- Commitment to patient privacy, confidentiality, and compliance with regulations.
