Job Details:
Job Summary: This position co-ordinates the execution and installation delivery for the project; infrastructure installation, cabling works and Equipment installation. To ensure and maintain safety & quality standards within specified timeframes. This position typically works under general supervision and direction. Incumbents of this position will regularly exercise discretionary and substantial decision-making authority.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

- Co-ordinate installation sub-contractors or employees on site doing survey, modifications and installation works
- Administer the delivery of any material and equipment to site
- Compile and document weekly progress on all sites
- Produce Site Visit Reports when required after inspecting sites
- Manage the program installation schedule and provide input when required for the project schedules
- Review and mark-up correct Combined Services Drawings (CSD) and our layout drawings
- Continually seek to improve processes and implement improved methods of working
- Manage installation risk and issues onsite
- Ensure all work onsite is completed in accordance to Australian standards
- Represent the Company at all stakeholder meetings with respect to delivery of the installation works
- Detail and signoff that the equipment has been installed correctly and to specification
- Conduct all site walks with SWC or civil contractors
- Deputise for the Installation Manager when needed
- Ensure there are investigations for all accident and near miss incidents, to determine causes and respond to employee safety suggestions & implementation of corrective action where practicable
- Ensure WHSE are informed of accidents and where required escalate
- Report all WHSE incidents and potential hazards and other items that are beyond own authority to rectify

General Duties and Responsibilities:

- Comply with Cubic’s Quality Management System
- Comply with Cubic Occupational Health, Safety and Environment policies and procedures
- Comply with security in accordance with established policies and procedures of the organisations
- Comply with Cubic Human Resources Procedures
- Other duties as requested

Minimum Job Requirements:
**Qualifications**:

- Tertiary qualifications in Electronics, Engineering or similar discipline or equivalent experience

Skills/Experience/Knowledge

Essential:

- 6 years prior experience in a similar role
- Demonstrated practical experience trunking and cabling infrastructure installation Knowledge of AFC equipment installation process
- Understanding and ability to read the installation drawings, CSD drawings, layout drawings etc
- Ability to read, interpret and implement engineering plans and drawings
- Ability to build sound stakeholder relationships
- Ability to work under pressure and to tight timeframes
- Willingness to participate on different hours or be on-call should the need arise
- Mechanical aptitude
- Problem solving skills
