**About the Role**

The successful applicant will be experienced in teaching Level 3 Mathematics and general level Science and have an understanding of the developmental needs of the spectrum of learners and be able to encourage, support and challenge students both socially and academically. Experience in teaching pre-tertiary Physical Science and Mathematics Methods is an advantage.

Teaching staff need to be involved in the wider life of the School and hold a willingness to participate fully in the School's co-curricular program, including involvement as a Pastoral Contact Teacher.

- A Bachelor of Science /Mathematics (or equivalent) and Tasmanian teacher registration;

- Demonstrated innovation in the teaching of curriculum and student learning;
- Outstanding classroom practice and comprehensive experience using Information Technology within the teaching and learning program;

Remuneration is in accordance with the successful applicant’s experience and the St Michael's Collegiate School (Teachers) Enterprise Agreement 2020.
